GRAND TAJ CALIFORNIA TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. General Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Grand Taj California restaurant, event center, website, online ordering, and any associated services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Restaurant Dining & Reservations
A. Reservations: All dining reservations are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations if a customer violates these Terms or our house policies.
B. Cancellation/No-Show: For dining reservations, we may require a credit card guarantee. Failure to cancel a confirmed reservation by the specified deadline (e.g., 4 hours prior) or a no-show may result in a cancellation fee being charged to the card on file.
C. Dress Code & Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service to any person whose attire is deemed inappropriate or whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, or non-compliant with local laws.
3. Event Center Booking (Venue Rental & Private Dining)
A. Booking Confirmation & Deposits: All event bookings are tentative until a signed Event Contract or Private Dining Agreement (a separate document incorporating these general terms), along with the required non-refundable deposit, is received by Grand Taj California.
B. Payment Terms: Final payment for all event services and venue rental is due by the date specified in the Event Contract (typically 7-30 days prior to the event). Failure to remit final payment may result in the cancellation of your event and forfeiture of the deposit.
C. Guest Count Guarantee (Guaranteed Minimum): A final, guaranteed guest count must be provided by the date specified in the Event Contract. This number will be the minimum amount for which the Client will be charged, even if fewer guests attend.
D. Cancellation Policy (Events): Event deposits are non-refundable. Should the Client cancel an event, cancellation fees will apply as outlined in the Event Contract, typically based on a sliding scale relative to the event date.
E. Damage to Property: The Client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft to the venue, its furniture, fixtures, equipment, or any surrounding property caused by the Client, their guests, employees, or any third-party vendors hired by the Client. A damage fee will be assessed to the Client.
4. Vendor and Decor Policies (Events)
A. Approved Vendors: Grand Taj California must approve all third-party vendors (e.g., florists, DJs, decorators) working on the premises. The Client must provide proof of insurance for all approved vendors.
